Introspective

Spending the week doing neglected tune ups on my body. Not at the gym but various health care providers. Sometimes I loathe the acceptance of sufficient responsibility to necessitate giving up one thing in order to do another.

But that's fucking life, ain't it?

Got some sad news about a good friend today, and it's not sitting right with me.

Picked up the new Drive by Trucker's record a couple days ago. It's nice. Their last two full length albums were good, but this one is on par with their best.

Patterson Hood has some real gems on the record.

Hearing him wail "I won't get as far as my daddy made it."

Good stuff for sure.
